Synopsis: A cutting-edge satire, Devolved follows an affluent group of high schoolers from suburban San Diego on a class trip who find themselves stranded on a deserted island off the Baja Coast. The group, a microcosm of suburban teenagerdom, pits two cultures against one another; people who want high school to go on forever, and people who want to get away from the first group as fast as humanly possible. Caught in the middle are our protagonists; Ralph, a charming, reserved loner, and Peggy, an ex-cheerleader turned outsider. Together, they must find a way to keep peace between the two camps long enough to ensure their escape from the island – and high school itself.
